I came across designer Zuzana Kubickova the other day, and her beautiful collection Zima. Amazing photography and great make up- I love the doll like lopsided lips!
I love the simplicity of this bag, designed and made in-store by Alex Herdman of Brighton boutique Last. It cleverly converts into a rucksack, which I wouldn't have been that excited about until now, but Elle UK have recently done a 12 of the best... which tells me they'll be adorning a few fashion conscious shoulders this season.
The screen printing process is one that I have such fond memories of at university. I would love to do some prints of my own soon. In the mean time, I am on the look out for some prints to add to my small collection. Etsy have some great finds. I like this one by Mengsel design.
When I was young we never celebrated Mother's day. My dad always said "you should appreciate your mum all year round!", which of course I agree with, but years later found out that actually mum would have loved some flowers. I personally try to steer clear of any feelings that the day should revolve around me. Being a mum is a gift in itself. Although one of these beauties falling in my lap would be most welcome!

These items from Fullcircle Spring/Summer 10 are great. Especially the stripy dip dyed dress. I'd wear it loads- great with heels or even just some converse. Available at Nola boutique, Brighton.
Just been chatting with my good friend and neighbour who is off on holiday tomorrow *sigh*. These items would definitely make it into my suitcase if I too were heading for sunnier climes...
