Nina Dolcetti

Gorgeous! I have recently become a big fan of Nina Dolcetti shoes. Especially the 'Elevate' (pictured first)- so unusual. Can't wait to get my hands on a pair! The shoes are made in a small family-run factory in London from recycled leather and other ethically-sourced materials. Marni & Gary Hume

Marni has collaborated with British artist Gary Hume to create a capsule t-shirt collection for their AW10-11 collection. Bravo.

Angora covered rock anyone?

A couple of random non essentials from Project No.8. If I had money to through away I would consider the angora covered rock as a paperweight, but sadly the chicken foot brooch (an actual chicken foot bone covered in leather) I would not.

Animal print

I haven't had this Topshop jumpsuit long, but already I feel like I've worn it into the ground! If in doubt get the animal print jumpsuit out (or the black maxi dress, but thought this made for a more interesting post). These sandals have been a very worthwhile purchase with the recent heat limiting my options!

Wood frames

Herrlicht wood frames consist of 100% wood! They are handmade from either Maple, Pear or Walnut. Really amazing. You can watch the process here.

Minimarket wooden wedge boots

LOVE!!! So pleased with my new Minimarket boots! Can't wait to wear them out. At the moment they are sitting pride of place where I can happily gaze at them now and then... I got them from my favourite Brighton boutique Nola. So much lovely stuff in there at the moment, and still lots to be got in the sale! Drop by there if you can if you can.

And by the way, aren't the geraniums lovely? I can take no credit though- all my husband's efforts!

Bargain joy

Oh I do love a bargain. The Kurt Geiger 'Jay' shoes were but a dream, until sale time hit and there they were... less than half the price! This silk jumpsuit is the one I wore for the wedding in the field, and is now free of stains and ready to be worn again. Hooray!

Celine platforms

These Celine shoes are beauties! And although the platform is huge, I think they look pretty comfortable as the incline isn't that high... I have recently bagged a pair of Kurt Geiger wooden platforms in the sale which are the nearest I'll get to these lovelies.

Nudes, pastels and converse

It's Hammer Time again! Here's the trousers teamed with my trusty nude jacket (H&M), simple grey vest (also H&M) and of course, the shoes that go with everything, Converse All Stars. Plus my favourite necklaces which are sourced from a range of retailers- from pawn broker and Half Price Jewellers (you'd be surprised what beauties can be found there!) to the lovely North Laine boutique Nola. FYI, Rhonda from Nola has recently informed me that Zoe & Morgan jewellery is set to arrive by christmas. 'Love' ring here I come.

Outfit 09.07.10

Finally I've gathered courage. After requests to actually see some real life outfits, I've decided to just go for it and trust that no one will judge badly! So here's what I wore today. Vest H&M (I love it but have not worn it much till now, as pre summer pastiness meant that I looked naked from the waist up). Shorts also H&M, and sandals from Topshop. Oh, and lipstick 'So Chaud' by Mac.
